RamCity are memory upgrade specialists. We are an Australian owned and run company located in North Sydney, Australia. Since being launched in July 2003 we've supplied thousands of memory upgrades and flash memory products all over Australia, New Zealand, the U.S., UK and many other countries worldwide.

Our mission is to supply the right memory upgrade, fast, the first time. We ship direct from Auckland for New Zealand orders (New Zealanders please order from our dedicated site at www.ramcity.co.nz), and direct from Lenham, Kent for UK buyers - www.ramcitystore.co.uk. We also ship direct from Sydney for Australian and all other worldwide buyers.

We will never compromise on quality; that's why we stick with Kingston almost exclusively for all memory upgrades, and the known name brands like Sandisk, Lexar, Imation, Pretec and Sony for flash memory.

We believe our success is due to always striving to exceed the expectations of our customers. This means responding to email and phone enquiries quickly and accurately, and delivering orders promptly and efficiently.

My current job
It's my job to keep our clients happy and to make sure that we're delivering customer service that's better than the month before.

In a previous life
I dropped out of Uni at 19, worked for Westpac for 3 years, then managed one of the first ISP's in Perth for a couple of years.  After that I got a more serious job as a Systems Administrator and later Team Leader for Infomedia Ltd where I was for over 7 years.  At the ripe old age of 32 I finally cashed in my savings to start RamCity and another consulting business.  I still have a couple of consulting clients today that I do work for remotely but RamCity has grown so much that it's all I have time for.

Things I'm into
I'm a bit of a geek so I love gadgets and technical stuff.  I also really enjoy being in business and trying to do better in at least one area each month.  I like walking rather than driving, I recently took up Yoga, and my favourite food is vanilla icecream with ice magic on top.

A bit more about RamCity
We have just a small team of people on the payroll here at RamCity.  Part of our success is because we work with great warehousing and supply partners, logistics partners, a graphic designer, programmer, accountant, bank manager, advertising agent, and others who are all professionals at what they do.  It's a team effort.

The good thing about dealing with a small business is that as a customer you can always talk to the guy who makes the decisions.  Being small also enables us to do things faster and be more agile than the bigger guys.

Don't be fooled by our size though, we're always taking orders from customers who couldn't buy what they needed from their original vendor or computer supplier. That's because we're memory upgrade specialists!
