Shipping Options
RamCity offers low-cost 1-2 Day Air Express courier delivery by Star Track Express, and by Express Post for all orders to Australian destinations. We also ship via International Courier and Airmail to the UK, Canada, US, and over 150 other countries worldwide. Orders received by 1:00PM AEST (Australian Eastern Standard Time), and sent by Courier will normally be processed and shipped the same day based on availability. If your order is received later, shipment may not occur until the following business day. * Special Note *: We cannot influence the delivery times for courier deliveries, nor will they leave a parcel unattended without specific written permission. If you wish for your delivery to be left unattended, please write a note for the couriers giving permission to do so, put your name on it, sign and date it. If you wish your order to be delivered by courier, you must provide an address that is attended during business hours, so that it can be signed for. Warning about Express Post shipments Express Post shipments are normally only sent out the same day if received prior to 10am. * Note * in some regional areas outside the Australia Post Next Business Day Delivery Network, delivery can take from 6-10 business days. For the fastest delivery, please choose the AU 1-2 Day Air option when you check out. (If you are not home during the day, you could specify a business address for delivery.) RamCity is not responsible for shipping or other delays caused by events beyond our control. Collection is also available from one of three Sydney warehouses that we currently operate from in either St Leonards, Matraville, or Botany (We will advise you where to collect your order from, or please call us to check before ordering.) Please see below for other expedited or international freight options: Deliveries to Australia and overseas currently ship from our Sydney warehousing centres. Please note, we have dedicated sites with local currency pricing and shipping options for some other countries: New Zealand For orders to New Zealand destinations, please order from our dedicated site at www.ramcity.co.nz with shipping direct from Auckland. New Zealanders also have the option of having memory shipped from our Sydney warehouse by selecting the International Courier or International Airmail freight option. United Kingdom and main EU Countries For orders to the UK, Austria, Belgium, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Ireland, Italy, Luxembourg, Netherlands, Portugal, Spain, and Sweden, please order from our dedicated UK site at www.ramcitystore.co.uk with shipping direct from Kent in the UK. Shipping Rates Deliveries within Australia Australia 1-2 Day Air Express Courier (Star Track, AAE). $5.50 AUD (Full online tracking available, not valid for RDRAM products. Please allow 1-2 business days) Australia Express Post satchel (for memory products only). $7.70 (Limited online tracking available if within the Australia Post next business day delivery network). For most metropolitan areas please allow 2 business days for delivery. Regional areas can take from 6-10 business days. Australia Sydney 4hr courier. $11.00 AUD (Available prior to 10:00am or before 5:30pm for a next day service) Note: Express Post does not include insurance. RamCity will not be responsible for items lost or damaged in transit. Items sent by courier will be replaced at our cost should they be lost. International Deliveries We ship via Australia Post Express Courier International for $29.00 AUD to over 150 countries. (Can be tracked online, please allow 2-5 business days plus customs.) Note that in some countries this service is only available to major towns and cities. Please check the Australia Post International Post Guide and see the notes about ECI deliveries for your particular country/city. Airmail. $9.00 AUD to over 200 countries. (No tracking available, please allow 3-10 business days plus customs.) Note:International shipments are not insured by default and RamCity cannot be responsible for items lost or damaged in transit. Express Courier International items can be insured to the value of $250 for an additional $12 AUD. Please request this in the notes when checking out if you would like your parcel insured. Insurance is not available for international airmail shipments. GST (Foreign orders are GST-exempt and save 10%) Please note that by law our website must show prices including the Australian GST, which is currently 10%. The great news if you are an International customer (outside of Australia) is that you don't pay any GST on your purchase (an additional 10% saving!). To remove the GST from your order, simply go to the checkout page and make sure you set your country and your preferred delivery option correctly. The GST tax will then be automatically removed from your total purchase price. International Duties and Taxes RamCity does not collect duty or sales tax for international orders. Any duties, tax or fees levied by your government are your responsibility and vary depending on the destination. In most cases, the carrier will try to collect duty or taxes when the package is delivered, or will notify you of the charges prior before hand. |
