Q: There are many different memory options for my system - which is the best?: Generally speaking, the larger the upgrade, the greater the potential system performance increase. So, a 2GB upgrade is better than a 1GB upgrade, which is better than a 512MB upgrade. Some systems also handle different memory speeds, such as DDR-333 and DDR-400, or DDR2-533 and DDR2-667. In most cases the modules with the higher number will provide better performance.
