Note, the first connector on the cable that comes with this enclosure is USB Type-A. If your system only has the much newer style USB Type-C ports, then you can still use this cable by combining it with a USB Type-A to Type-C converter.

This slim, pocket-sized M.2 SATA SSD enclosure has been specially designed for mobility, with a small form factor design that fits easily into your laptop bag. Its lightweight yet durable aluminium housing helps to ensure your drive won’t be damaged while you’re on the move.

Maximise the performance of your M.2 SSD

Leverage the speed of your M.2 SATA solid state drive with this external enclosure. It delivers USB 3.1 data transfer speeds up to 10Gbps and includes UASP and TRIM support, so you can achieve higher transfer speeds when you connect it to a UASP-enabled host computer.

The enclosure is very widely compatible and works with tablets, laptops and desktop computers with a USB 3.1/3.0/2.0 port that uses the most common Type-A connector. If your system only has the much newer style USB Type-C ports, then you can still use this enclosure by combining it with a USB Type-A to Type-C converter.

Compatible with:

  • The enclosure is compatible with all standard M.2 SATA SSDs, and enables you to mount multiple drive lengths, including: 30mm (2230), 42mm (2242), 60mm (2260), and 80mm (2280).
  • Supports USB 3.1/3.0/2.0 (10 Gbps)
  • Works with B+M Key M.2 SATA SSDs, such as Sandisk X300, Crucial MX300, Samsung 860 Evo, WD Blue, WD Green, MyDigitalSSD SB2. Read more about M.2 SSD's.

 

NOT Compatible with:

  • This product wont work with PCIe NVMe M.2 SSD's, such as the Samsung 970 Evo/Pro, SM961, MyDigitalSSD BPX, Western Digital Black. Instead, see enclosures for M.2 NVMe SSD's.
