Kingston 2.5 to 3.5" Drive Bay Bracket with screws

This handy adapter kit allows installation of all 2.5 inch form factor SSD (7mm or 9.5mm high) and notebook drives into a standard 3.5 inch drive bay found in most desktop computers. For any Mac with a 3.5" drive bay (Mac Pro and iMac) we recommend you go with the OWC Adaptadrive 2.5" to 3.5" converter bracket.

Additional Features

  • Adapts a standard internal 3.5" drive bay to accept a 2.5" drive.
  • Ideal for use with any 2.5-inch SSD or 2.5-inch HDD
  • Includes all installation hardware (including screws) for mounting.
  • A screwdriver is not included in this kit, but we do sell a nice Phillips PH #1 separately.
  • High quality, metal construction.
  • Extra ventilation holes for better air-flow cooling.
  • Solid sheet metal on bottom and both sides, meaning this should work in most screw-less enclosures.

Do you need a drive carrier that fully encloses the 2.5-inch SSD or HDD? Whoa there! You need the Kingston 2.5" to 3.5" drive carrier or if you are adding an SSD to a Mac Pro computer (the pre-cylindrical one), the Angelbird Mac Pro SSD Bay or OWC Adaptadrive 2.5" to 3.5" converter bracket instead.
