Silverstone 2.5 inch to 3.5 inch Drive Adapter Bracket
This handy adapter kit allows installation of all 2.5 inch form factor SSD (7mm or 9.5mm high) and notebook drives into a standard 3.5 inch drive bay found in most desktop computers. It also works in most iMac's bar the pre-2008 models, but for any Mac with a 3.5" drive bay (Mac Pro and iMac) we recommend you go with the OWC Adaptadrive 3.5-inch to 2.5-inch drive converter which is custom designed for those machines to ensure proper data and power port alignment.

Do you need a drive carrier that fully encloses the 2.5-inch SSD or HDD? Whoa there! You need the Kingston 2.5" to 3.5" drive carrier or if you are adding an SSD to a Mac Pro computer (the pre-cylindrical one), the Angelbird Mac Pro SSD Bay or OWC Adaptadrive 2.5" to 3.5" converter bracket instead.
